GRADUATION FROM EIGHTH GRADE

This page will hold a picture of Daddy’s Eight Grade diploma. Daddy’s formal education ended with his completion of the eighth grade. However, if you knew him, it was obvious he did not stop learning at age 14. His math skills were outstanding – he did numbers in his head. He was a cultured individual – he could identify any classical symphony or opera after hearing a few bars of the music (and he knew who composed the composition). I always said he got his degree in history and geography from the National Geographic. He read every issue from cover to cover.
