NATATHANIEL HARRISON (1770 – 1845) AND MARTHA KENNON BROADNAX HARRISON (1776 – 1858)
Nathaniel and Martha had eight children, according to Ancestry and Family Search websites. There were seven children listed in Nathaniel’s will. The eighth, Nancy Ann Harrison McDaniel, remains a mystery in my mind at the moment. We will continue research and try to document Nancy.
The seven children listed in Nathaniel Harrison’s will are:
- Mary Ann Wright
- Caroline K. Butts
- Sally Jones Wallace,
- Alexander B. Harrison
- John B. Harrison
- Gabriel Harrison
- Martha Evelina White

PUTNAM ORDINARY COURT RECORDS
I found over 300 pages of inventories of slaves, equipment, live stock, household goods, etc. recorded in the Putnam County Georgia court records. Some items I found interesting are posted below. Files containing the complete records are linked below these posts.
I have attempted to separate the court records into the following groups:
INVENTORY OF ASSEETS (INCLUDING SLAVES BY NAME, LIVE STOCK, FARM EQUIPMENT, HOUSEHOLD ITEMS, ETC. )
INVENTORY OF SLAVES
RECEIPTS FOR BALES OF COTTON
PROCEEDS OF ESTATE AUCTION
