A VISIT TO AGGIE AND BILL CHITTY IN ALTADIENA, CA – JUNE 1994

I attended an IEEE Aerospace & Electronics Systems Society conference in Los Angeles while working with The Howland Company on Lockheed Martin C-5A modernization projects. I visited my long-time friend, Aggie (Serdienis) Chitty, from my days at IBM in Kingston, NY. Here are some photos from my visit with Aggie, Bill, their daughter, and grandson. We stopped by O. J. Simpson’s mansion and the murder scene where O.J. was accused of killing his girlfriend,, Nichole Simpson.

THE LOS ANGELES AND ALTADENA FIRES OF 2025

I talked with Aggie on the phone in 2023. Bill Chitty is deceased, and Aggie lives in Utah near her two daughters, Benita Hainline and Brenda.

Their beautiful home in Altadena was destroyed in the 2025 Los Angeles fires. Here is a their original house and a 2025 picture I copied from Brenda’s Facebook page:
