EXPEDITIONARY MEDAL AND DOCUMENTATION

Both the ship USS Milwaukee and the men who took part in the landing party to put down the insurrectionists received commendations for their meritorious service. The documentation copied below shows the efforts Daddy had to go to to prove that he participated in the landing party and the violence that ensued. Daddy wore this medal on his watch chain.
