BILL’S AIRPLANES: 727 AND 747

The tri-engine 727 jet liner made its maiden flight shortly after Bill started to work with Boeing’s Commercial Airplane Division in Seattle. Bill’s eight years at Boeing were devoted entirely to designing and operating data and control instrumentation systems for ground testing two of the company’s airplane products, the 727 and the 747.
