TRIBUTE TO JOAN (1938 – 2015)

Above is a video tribute to Joan Moore Harrison produced for her Memorial Service held at Central Congregational UCC, Atlanta, GA on August 14, 2015. Joan was born in Tampa, FL November 30, 1939 and died July 27, 2015 from a rare neurological disease called Corticobasal Ganglionic Degeneration (CBGD). Joan was a powerful woman. Her unfaltering smile, her will power, her determination kept her and those around her positive and moving forward. To the end, the power of her love for others sustained her friends, family and caregivers. She is sorely missed by all who knew, and were close to her.

Below is a video produced by some other folks who trudged the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage across Northern Spain. Joan and our daughter Susie, along with two of Susie’s friends, walked this pilgrim trail in 2008(?).
